Rafael Nadal has been in the business of winning professional tennis matches since 2001. Over the years he has risen to become one of the most iconic players in the history of the sport.

Nadal has won 19 Grand Slams, the most recent of which came at the US Open in September, meaning he is just one shy of Roger Federer’s record haul of 20.

His 2009 Australian Open title remains his only Grand Slam success down under.

However, the Spaniard is not concerned with overhauling Federer’s tally.

The tennis star helped Kia, South Korea’s second-largest automobile manufacturer, launch its new transport service at the Australian Open in January.

Kia have been linked to Nadal for more than a decade, leading him to say: “I look back 15 years ago and it seems incredible to me everything we’ve achieved.”
