Insiders reveal that though she’s thrilled for 23-year-old Brooklyn as he prepares to tie the knot with actress fiancée Nicola Peltz on 9 April, she’s struggling with the thought of her brood flying the nest.

A source tells Closer, “Victoria is extremely close to Brooklyn and – as her firstborn – they’ve always had a very special bond. She’s admitted that her biggest fear about him getting married is that, in a way, she’s losing him, which has started to hit home in recent weeks in the build-up to his big day.
“She understands that Nicola’s family will be more involved, given she’s the bride and they’re all in the US – not to mention the wedding is taking place at her family’s home – but there’s that natural insecurity that he’s growing ever closer to her family. It’s at times like this that the distance between them really stings for her.”
The famously tight-knit mum-and-son duo were a regular sight at fashion shows and events in his early teens, when he would often accompany her as her “walker,” and she described him as the “perfect date” in 2018, when she posted a pic of her adjusting his tie before he accompanied her to a charity ball.
