The four-time major champion partnered up with Dude Perfect in a bid to shatter some world records in Jupiter golf club, Florida. In one of the first attempts of the kind, Rory McIlroy came out sparkling as he lashed out many exciting shots. In the video, the pro golfer first attempted to beat the distance of 235 yards for the record of the ‘Farthest golf shot made with a Putter’. He went on to hit the ball for a distance of 255 yards to claim the Guinness World Record Title. In another attempt to break the record for the ‘Most Blindfolded Putts Made in 30 seconds’, the Irishman successfully broke the existing record of 11 while adding one more to make it 12.
As the records kept on increasing and being broken, the 34-year-old did not falter for a moment. He smashed yet another one for the ‘Fastest time to hit 10 golf balls over 300 yards,’ as he went on to take a total of 1 minute and 11 seconds. In another surprise, McIlroy teamed up with the content creators to beat the record of 6 holes in the ‘Most par 3 holes completed in 3 minutes by a team’ to register 7.
