BAD BOOKS Sir Andy Murray reveals one of his children ‘ignores’ him when he leaves home to play tennis abroad
SIR Andy Murray told how one of his kids snubs him when he leaves home to play tennis.
The former Wimbledon champ, 33, said his three-year-old girl Edie gives him the silent treatment when he heads overseas.
He said: “When I tell her I’m going away she gets upset. She ignores me on FaceTime and stuff, which is sad.”
Muzza said his young ones had got used to him being home during injury lay-offs and lockdown.
He added: “Hopefully at some stage they’ll be able to come on the road to a tournament and enjoy it.
“But I don’t really want my family to have to stay in a hotel for ten days just so I can see them. It’s not fun for them.”
Murray, from Dunblane, Perthshire, and wife Kim, 33, also have Sophia, five, and son Teddy, one.
