Iga Swiatek announces she is joining Emma Raducanu in Porsche family
Iga Swiatek has announced she is joining German luxury carmaker Porsche as their new global brand ambassador. At a WTA 500 event in Stuttgart, Porsche is the main sponsor. In the last two years, Swiatek won back-to-back Stuttgart titles and drove off home with two new brand-new Porsche models.
This past April, Swiatek was rewarded with a Porsche Taycan Turbo S Sport Turismo for her Stuttgart win. “After I got my 2nd trophy in Stuttgart many of you wrote that it is a good moment to start a collab with Porsche and it seems very natural to me.
So… guess what. I’m joining #teamPorsche! And it doesn’t mean I won’t be fighting for another Porsche car in Stuttgart next year,” Swiatek announced.

Swiatek joins Emma Raducanu in being a Porsche ambassador
Last year, Porsche announced Raducanu as their global ambassador.
Now, Porsche signed a deal with Swiatek, who is the best player in the women’s game. Considering how much success Swiatek had in her first two Stuttgart appearances, there is no doubt that the Pole intends to play in Stuttgart for many more years.
But it will certainly feel a bit different for Swiatek when returns to Stuttgart next time as being a global ambassador for such a luxurious carmaker is not a small thing. However, Swiatek should do extremely well in her role as Stuttgart is a place where she feels so comfortable.
After beating Aryna Sabalenka in this year’s Stuttgart final, Swiatek admitted she returned to Stuttgart “wanting to win the title really hard.” “I wanted to win really, really hard, but I knew that I can’t really focus on that and just I have to keep doing my job as I did on previous matches.
I’m pretty happy that I could kind of have good mentality and just focus on what I want to do tennis-wise,” Swiatek said after the final.
