Tiger Woods’ troubles continue: His ex, Erica Herman, takes legal battle to appeals court
Over the years, Tiger Woods has had to deal with several legal issues and he is currently engaged in a legal struggle with Erica Herman, his ex-girlfriend.
Following their break-up in 2022, Herman sued Woods and his trust, accusing him of alleged sexual harassment.
Her case was dismissed twice in Florida courtrooms, but she filed an appeal this past Friday, doing so with Florida’s Fourth District Court of Appeal.
According to USA Today, her aim is to lift a particular non-disclosure agreement that she penned in 2017.
She would like to have her legal case play out in public, but judges in Florida have so far ruled in Woods’ favour and argued that any case should be treated through private arbitration.
It remains to be seen if the appeal filed this week will prove to be successful.
Who is Erica Herman?
Erica Herman is currently 39 years of age and dated Tiger Woods from 2017 until October of 2022.
She is from Florida and worked in the hospitality industry, being hired as a manager at The Woods Jupiter in 2015.
A couple of years after that, their relationship became public and they dated until their break-up late last year.
Now, she is suing the famous golfer, having reportedly filed a lawsuit in March of 2023 for 30m dollars.
