Bouchard defies idol Federer by deciding to wear “all white” to all grass events

Genie Bouchard is set to wear all-white outfits the whole grass season, not only at Wimbledon, where this attire is mandatory. With this choice, Bouchard opposes Roger Federer’s opinion about Wimbledon’s stiff tradition. “We only have to wear all white at Wimbledon but I think all white looks so nice on the grass that I wanted to wear it at all my grass events,” Bouchard motivated her decision on an Instagram Story.

Recently, Bouchard sported an all-white New Balance outfit at the German Open held in Berlin on grass. Unfortunately for the Canadian, she lost in the second qualifying round against Vera Zvonareva (3-6, 7-5, 3-6).

Eugenie Bouchard declared she is “the biggest Roger Federer fan” right before naming Novak Djokovic as “the undisputed GOAT” following the latter’s win at Roland Garros.
