Nick Taylor is one of the best professional golfers in Canada who turned pro way back in 2010. In 2014, he won his first PGA Tour event at the Sanderson Farms Championship in Mississippi. His victory marked a player from Canada’s first PGA Tour triumph in the previous seven years.
Again, Taylor showed his remarkable skills in the 2020 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. He had a one-shot lead over Phil Mickelson, and won the tournament by four strokes over Kevin Streelman. He was able to qualify for the Masters Tournament thanks to that win.
Taylor finished just two strokes behind Scottie Scheffler at the WM Phoenix Open in February of this year. The golfer, who is now ranked 69th in the world, is showcasing his incredible abilities at the RBC Canadian Open. He established a new record at Oakdale Golf & Country Club by shooting a 9-under 63 there.
At 11-under, he is now tied with Englishman Aaron Rai for eighth place. His achievements are no joke, but perhaps they would not have been possible without regular encouragement and support. Fortunately for Taylor, his wife, Andie Taylor, provides him with enough of that.

Andie is actively engaged in social services. She works at Canada’s Abbotsford Regional Hospital, providing her services there. Taylor supports her wholeheartedly in her noble humanitarian activities. The couple is very involved in their communities and put in a lot of time volunteering and helping others. More than $225,000 has been raised by them both for the UFV Cascades Athletics Golf Program.
