Seven-time grand slam champion Venus Williams loves to interact with her fans. She likes to keep her followers updated on her activities and practice sessions on a regular basis through her social media handles. The fans, of course, eagerly wait to know the whereabouts of their favorite star, and what she is up to.
Venus made an inspiring comeback to the court earlier this year at the ASB Classic in Auckland, New Zealand. She won her first competitive singles match in a year and a half when she overcame compatriot Katie Volynets in the opening round of the tournament, before falling short to Lin Zhu of China in the following round.
However, her injury woes continued as she was forced to withdraw from this year’s Australian Open, where she was slated to participate as a wild card entrant. She has been out of the tour ever since.
But now, with Wimbledon knocking on the door, the elder Williams has kept all her fans and the tennis world guessing about a possible mixed-doubles appearance at the All England Club.
