Over the past few years, Paige Spiranac has become the queen of golf. After playing Division 1 college golf at the University of Arizona and San Diego State University, and after moving into professional golf on the Cactus Tour, she went on to take social media by storm.
She has become one of the biggest influencers in the United States of America, and the world, sharing posts every day on golf and on other subjects too.
Now, though, Paige Spiranac may have a rival, as Claire Hogle is emerging as a new social media influencer for golf fans.
Who is Claire Hogle?
Claire Hogle is a 23-year-old from San Diego, who also played golf at college, doing so at California State University.
Her dad played golf his whole life, which is what led Hogle to fall in love with the sport, but only after a while.
“In eighth grade, my mom told me that I have to play at least one season of high school golf or else,” she revealed in an interview.
“So I played my one season which I prepared all summer for, and I really liked it.
“I didn’t want to at first, but I ended up really liking it and pursued it to take it further.”
Claire Hogle is a vegan and is also known for sharing nutritional tips on her social media platforms.

Although Claire Hogle has an impressive 850,000 followers on Instagram, she still has some way to go to reach the 3.7 million of Paige Spiranac.
Paige Spiranac also has her own podcast, called ‘Playing a Round with Paige Renee’, so she is well established.
Some competition might even be welcome. The more women speaking about golf, the better for the sport as a whole.
