Watch: Bianca Andreescu asks Nick Kyrgios for help, Australian responds

Bianca Andreescu asked Nick Kyrgios for help after posting a video of her unsuccessfully trying to hit a tweener. Andreescu, the 2019 US Open champion, was practicing tweeners during a recent practice session but it just wasn’t working for her.

Andreescu tagged Kyrgios – who is the master of the tweener shot – and asked him to “send help.”

Shortly after, Kyrgios responded: “You have to let the ball drop a little more.”

Andreescu thanked Kyrgios and jokingly said it would help if she had his long legs.
“Okok update coming soon, would be nice if I had your long legs tho lol,” Andreescu wrote.

Andreescu working hard to return to the top
In 2019, Andreescu won a Grand Slam – two WTA 1000 titles – reached a career-high ranking of No 4 in the world.

Andreescu, now ranked at No 41 in the world, hasn’t won any titles since. Recently, Andreescu talked about her desire to return to the very top of the game.

“It would be nice to get back into the top 10, win another Grand Slam and other tournaments.

But I just want to go on the court and have fun, play my best tennis, and give it my all. If I stay in the present moment, not think too far ahead, I know that I can accomplish my ultimate goal – to become world No 1, and win multiple Grand Slams,” Andreescu recently told The Globe and Mail.

Andreescu, who will be turning 23 in June, accomplished some pretty notable things at a very young age. But she is certain that there is still a room for improvement in her game. “I’m still only 22 years old, and I feel like I still have so much more to learn about myself and my game.

Who knows what I’m going to be in like in two or three years, even in the next six months,” Andreescu said. It remains to be seen how well can Andreescu do at the French Open.
