Andy Murray’s wife Kim opened up on the usual reason that she vowed not to get pregnant after having four children with former the world No 1.

Andy Murray’s wife has shared the reason she promised not to get pregnant anymore after having four children with the tennis star. Kim Murray has kept a low profile throughout her 18-year relationship with the world No 42 but recently spoke out after renovating Cromlix – the hotel she owns with Andy. And she explained how her new love of interior design fed into her pregnancy promise.

Kim has been with Andy since 2005, with the pair getting married in 2015. They have four children together, with their youngest daughter Lola born in early 2021. But they have now ruled out having more kids, with Mrs Murray revealing the unusual reason she “promised” not to get pregnant anymore.

The 35-year-old recently helped to renovate Cromlix Hotel in Andy’s home of Dunblane, a hotel the couple bought ten years ago. Speaking to The Times, Kim explained that her eye for interior design came from doing up her family home with a team of designers – which was often set back by her pregnancies.

“I found the place that we demolished and rebuilt when Sophia was four months old,” she said of their Surrey home. “We moved in when our youngest, Lola, was three months, so it bookended my babies.”
