Jack Nicklaus, 83, has had a highly-decorated career in professional golf. An inspiration to Tiger Woods, Nicklaus holds a special corner in the golf legend’s heart. In fact, the two often speak about golf and non-golf stuff during their time off the course.
In a recent conversation with the reporters at the Greats of Golf exhibition, Nicklaus detailed one such conversation between him and Woods. And surprisingly, he ended up revealing what the golf legend was going through before stepping on the 2023 Masters field. “He’s showed a lot of guts and courage to play…He’s actually swinging pretty well; he just can’t walk.” Nicklaus said.
