David Beckham claims he’s ‘not appreciated’ by Victoria as he speaks on OCD battle
David Beckham has confessed he stays up for hours each night cleaning the family home to keep everything neat and tidy as he claimed wife Victoria doesn’t appreciate it.
Former footballer David Beckham has opened up on his lifelong battle with OCD in a new documentary for Netflix as he explained he stays awake hours after his family have gone to bed to clean the house.
Speaking in the kitchen, the 47-year-old commented: “I clean it so well, I’m not sure it’s actually appreciated so much by my wife, in all honesty.
“It’s tiring going around every single candle cleaning it,” he commented.
“I clip the candle wax, I clean the glass, that’s my pet hate, the smoke around the inside of a candle… I know, it’s weird.”
Wife Victoria is seen sitting at a dining table nearby and insists: “He’s just so perfect,” before assuring David he is “appreciated”.
“Don’t believe that for a second. She sounds so sarcastic when she says it,” David smiles at the production crew.
