After her incredible 2021 US Open victory Emma Raducanu struggled to replicate the same form during her first full year on the WTA circuit which was plagued by injuries.
Emma Raducanu is no longer considered Britain’s best tennis player as the former US Open champion was snubbed for a prestigious LTA award. Raducanu suffered a host of injuries last year but did reach No.10 in the world rankings, despite not winning another tournament
The 20-year-old was overlooked in the LTA Women’s Player of the Year award which was won by world No.113 Harriet Dart. The award was voted for by LTA members and coaches with the accolade based on performances during 2022.
