Andy Murray has served up a sweet photo of his rarely-seen son Teddy while out in sunny Marbella, Spain. Taking a break from tennis, the British sports superstar enjoyed quality time with his family as he doted on his three-year-old son.
The tennis ace gave his 1.9million loyal followers a look into his time in Spain which combined leisure and work as he was also training for the Monte-Carlo Masters tournament. He posted a selection of photographs to his Instagram from his time in Spain. Among the collection of family photographs, one in particular stood out as it captured the sweet moment the laughing dad lifted his son over his head.
The hands-on dad showed off his playful side as he pulled a funny face at Teddy. Alongside the photos, he wrote: “Just finished a great training week/holiday with my team and family at @puenteromanoresort in Marbella. What a great place. Thanks so much for looking after us. Now on my way to @rolexmontecarlomasters for the first time since 2017! Wish me luck.”
Also, Andy delighted fans as he posed for a romantic selfie with his wife Kim. Happier than ever, the couple proved they were the perfect love match as they beamed at the camera while enjoying the sunny weather in Spain. It isn’t long until the lovebirds will celebrate their wedding anniversary on April 11. They tied the knot eight years ago at Dunblane Cathedral in 2015 and have never looked back.
When he can’t wear his wedding ring on the tennis court, Andy has a special way to make a gesture to his wife as he ties it to his shoelaces. In a chat with HELLO! last year, the tennis champion honoured his wife saying she was the kindest person he knows. He told us: “My wife is the kindest, for continuing to allow me to follow my dreams and play tennis.”
