serena Williams has shared an adorable photo of daughter Alexis to celebrate her turning seven months old.
The tennis pro, 36, posed with her baby daughter in the swimming pool at the home she shares with husband Alexis Ohanian, in an Instagram snap posted on Tuesday evening.
The photo shows the youngster paddling in the water while standing in between her mother’s legs.
Williams recently revealed that she almost died after giving birth to Alexis by emergency caesarean back in September.
The sports star was left bed-bound for six weeks after suffering “a slew of health complications that I am lucky to have survived”.
Opening up about the terrifying experience in an open letter to CNN, Williams said she had a “pretty easy” pregnancy before facing “six days of uncertainty”.
