Italian tennis star Camila Giorgi punched above her weight in the 2021 season. Not many expected her to deliver at the biggest stages on tour but she pulled off some shocking results on her part.
She had a slow start to the season where she made it to the third round of the Australian Open.
On Clay, she reached the semifinal of the Palermo Ladies Open before bowing out in the second round at Roland Garros.
She then made it to the semifinals of the WTA 500 event at Eastbourne where she retired against Anett Kontaveit.
She also reached the quarterfinals of the Tokyo Olympics and followed it up with the biggest title of her career at Montreal where she beat the likes of Elise Mertens, Petra Kvitova, Coco Gauff and Karolina Pliskova.
Her season came to an end with a semifinal outing at the Tenerife Ladies Open.
Apart from her on court abilities, Giorgi is also one of the prettiest athlete on tour. Needless to say, she flaunts her beauty on social media.
