RAFAEL Nadal looked as though he didn’t have a care in the world earlier this week, as he took to the beach in Mexico for some much-deserved time off.
The tennis champ, who just won the title in Rio de Janeiro, decided to spend some quality time with stunning girlfriend Maria Xisca Parello before having to fly out to Indian Wells to defend his current top spot.
Void of any pre-match nerves, the world number one looked relaxed and at ease as he enjoyed a spot of sunbathing on the idyllic beach alongside his long-term partner.
Speaking about their relationship recently, friend Pedro Hernadez said: “Raf and Xisca are both very shy and ordinary people who like to live simply.
“They are not at all interested in a celebrity lifestyle. They get together when the tournaments are over. That’s how Raf winds down.”
Maria, an insurance company worker, is often seen travelling to many of his games, however she’s admitted that she does not feel the need to constantly follow her other half around the world.
