UPDATED 2022: Tyson Fury’s net worth vs Anthony Joshua’s net worth
Tyson Fury has offered Anthony Joshua a generous 60/40 split in order to get their title fight on before the end of the year.
And, despite his defeat to Oleksandr Usyk, Joshua has recently surpassed “The Gypsy King” in terms of net worth, according to the Daily Star.
AJ’s promoter Eddie Hearn recently revealed that they have ‘accepted‘ Fury’s proposal of a 60-40 split to fight Joshua before the end of the year. It has also been suggested that there is a rematch clause, meaning the purse ratio could be switched depending on the result.
The exact figures are not known yet, but there is huge public interest in the fight, meaning that it could be one of the biggest purses in British boxing history.
Tyson Fury’s net worth vs Anthony Joshua’s net worth
Fury is reported to hold a net worth of £130million, with most of his earnings coming from the trilogy against Deontay Wilder. He also has interests outside the ring, including two best-selling books and a new release of an energy drink Furocity Energy.
Joshua, meanwhile, was behind at £115m, but his worth has risen to close to £150m after his rematch with Usyk.
So, Fury’s offer means that whatever the outcome, Joshua would still be ahead of him financially by the start of 2023.
