World’s richest tennis player will inherit stunning £60m super yacht
When Jessica Pegula decides to walk away from professional tennis, it’s safe to assume that the American star will one day have the opportunity to travel in style. The world No.5 is still striving for a maiden Grand Slam title, having only managed a best of a quarter-final place in each of the four major events so far.
But she still boasts a reported net worth of £9.45million. And that figure will increase significantly due to the inheritance she’s in line to receive from her parents, with her father and petroleum engineer Terry worth a staggering £5.4billion.
As well as his business empire, the 73-year-old is also the owner of the Buffalo Sabres in the NHL and along with wife Kim, has acquired famous NFL outfit the Buffalo Bills. And he also owns a £60million super yacht, called the Top Five II in relation to his intentions to leave the vessel to his five children.
His previous yacht was worth £13.5m, boasted six cabins and could sleep 12 people. But that American model was duly replaced by a Dutch-built boat, with the Hakvoort Shipyard delivering him a luxurious 61-metre yacht complete with eye-catching and lavish features, following the plans laid out by Sinot Yacht Architecture and Design, and Diana Yacht Design.
