Sending a shockwave among fans and sports enthusiasts, John Lloyd, Chris Evert’s ex-husband expressed a desire to have a farewell tour for Andy Murray, unlike Roger Federer. “I mean, we would have loved Federer to have had sort of some sort of a farewell tour and he didn’t you know because of the knee and I hope it doesn’t go the same way with Andy,” he said during “Tennis Channel Inside-In” podcast.

Tennis enthusiasts are hoping that this same luck does not apply to Murray, who is also retiring owing to his injuries. Andy Murray has not given a concrete update about what his last game will be but has reiterated that he might not play past summer.
