‘Biggest Roger Federer fan’ Eugenie Bouchard has honest message for Novak Djokovic

Eugenie Bouchard noted she is “the biggest Roger Federer fan” before declaring Novak Djokovic as “the undisputed GOAT.” On Sunday, Djokovic defeated Casper Ruud in straight sets in the French Open final to win a record 23rd Grand Slam title.

Rafael Nadal is now behind Djokovic on the all-time Grand Slam record list with 22 Slams, while Roger Federer is the third with his 20 Major wins. Now that Djokovic officially has the most Grand Slam wins for the first time in his career, some believe he has proved he is the greatest of all time.

“I’m the biggest Roger fan but we all have to admit Novak is the undisputed goat. Insanely impressive,” Bouchard tweeted.

For many years, Federer owned the all-time Grand Slam record. Then, Nadal and Djokovic tied Federer as there was a period when all three had 20 Grand Slams.

Last year, Nadal won the opening two Grand Slams of the 2022 season to improve to 22 Majors. Djokovic responded by winning 2022 Wimbledon and this year’s Australian Open and French Open. “Obviously, Grand Slam is a Grand Slam.

Four biggest tournaments that we have in the history of our sports and every single player dreams of being in this stage and winning the trophy at least once in their career. I am beyond fortunate in my life to win 23 times Grand Slams.

It’s an incredible incredible feeling,” Djokovic said. Djokovic, who won his first French Open title in 2016, now has three titles at Roland Garros. “It’s not a coincidence that I’ve won 23rd Grand Slam title in Paris because this tournament is very much the hardest tournament to win for me all my career.

Lots of reasons, on court and off court. And I have to say that I am very proud and happy to be here on this very special court,” Djokovic said.
