Amid Carrying Burden of His Father’s Legacy, Charlie Woods Dominates With Latest Performance in Front of Tiger Woods

There is no denying that expectations from Charlie Woods are always going to be high. After all, filling the shoes of one of the best players that the world has ever seen is no joke. Which is why he has been working at it nonstop to make Tiger Woods proud. Just like his father Junior Woods has also been participating in golf tournaments from an early age.

Joined by his father the Woods duo have participated in many editions of the PNC Championships as well. And today he participated in another event where his father was his caddie and Charlie made a huge accomplishment.

It is not easy to carry the legacy of the legendary Tiger Woods. And being his son, Charlie Woods had this responsibility on his shoulders from a very early age. But lucky for him, his idol is his guide as well. Training under the shadow of his father, Woods Jr. has made yet another accomplishment to make Tiger proud.

Charlie’s hard work is paying off. This week the 14-year-old participated in the Junior Golf National Championship at the Mission Inn Resort where his father was his caddie. And to his father’s and the fans’ delight, Charlie has won the event. He had scored a solo lead with a total of -7. He made a 15 ft putt on the 18th hole to secure the victory in the boys of 14-15 years old division.

In another video surfaced from the course where Charlie Woods made his 5th birdie of the day. In the video, the Tiger was heard praising his son by saying “Well done! Though Woods is on hiatus and not playing on the green, he must be so happy to see his son shine in their favorite sport.
