‘Keep Grinding’: As Lydia Ko Shares a Refreshing Life Update Amid Her Slump, Netizens Flock Together To Raise Her Spirits

The season of 2023 has been one of the toughest ones for many players. While new names like Rose Zhang and Tom Kim shined, established names like Justin Thomas and Lexi Thompson were seen struggling drastically throughout the season. And another big name on the LPGA to be struggling is Lydia Ko. Struggling by her high standards, make no mistake!

The former world No. 1 player was on top of her game in 2022 but in 2023 she has admitted to delivering a string of forgettable performances. But amid the gloom, Ko has found love and support from her fans who are making sure not to let her spirits down.

This year Ko failed to earn a spot for herself in the Solheim Cup which is not a surprise given she hasn’t scored one win during the entire season. Her performance in the major championships has also been very disappointing. For the first time since 2013, Ko has not made a top-10 finish in any of the majors.

Moreover, she failed to make the cut in the Chevron Championship and Women’s British Open. And for the other three, she wasn’t even in the top 30 list. But Ko recognizes this slump and is willing to improve.
