‘This Is So Heartwarming’: Lydia Ko and Other LPGA Stars Win the Hearts of Fans with Generous Act at Chevron Championship
The LPGA Tour’s inaugural major championship of the year began yesterday, with some of the best women’s golfers contesting for the Chevron Championship. However, in the midst of the top-drawer competition, there was time to conduct a heart-warming act featuring star golfers such as Lydia Ko, which left netizens teary-eyed.
With the opening round underway, a little girl by the name of Bella, who was suffering from a life-threatening disease, was able to watch her favorite golfer play. Seated in a golf cart, she was greeted by seasoned golfer Brittany Lincicome, who commended Bella’s nail paint.
Furthermore, the young lady had the opportunity to meet none other than World No. 3 Lydia Ko. The pair shared some moments together, where the latter also taught Bella to make golf putts.
As revealed by a member of the Make-A-Wish crew, the whole plan was kept under wraps from Bella herself. They even planned a golf cart carrying loads of balloons, which left her smiling.
